Educational Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a qualifying undergraduate (Bachelor’s) or graduate (Master’s) program
- Fields of study: Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering
- Must graduate in 2026 or 2027 from an accredited university
- Must be in good academic standing (transcript may be required)
- Available to work from May 11 to August 21, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Medical Affairs Intern, you should assist in the development and implementation of novel key opinion leader (KOL) management and engagement programs
- Engage in medical writing to support scientific exchange with healthcare providers and publications
- Support both on-label and off-label scientific conversations
- Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and documentation in this Internship in Canada
- Draft manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications
- Prepare standard reports and documentation for the technical and clinical community
- Collect, analyze, and present clinical data
- Support the design and implementation of ongoing training for sales, marketing, and medical affairs teams as a Medical Affairs Intern
- Present deliverables to multi-functional teams
Skills Required:
- Sound understanding of medical terminology and medical scientific writing
- Ability to collect, analyze, and present clinical data
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interact with clinical and management leaders
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to prioritize assignments and manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the medical technology industry
- Experience working with clients or patients in hospital, nursing, laboratory medicine, public health, or biomedical engineering settings
