Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline
Key Responsibilities of the Process Quality Technologist:
- Maintain compliance with Food Safety Management Systems, including HACCP, BRC, Halal, Kosher, and customer-specific quality programs in the Microbiology Jobs.
- Conduct inspections, internal audits, validations, training, and compliance with sampling schedules
- Apply root cause analysis tools and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) to improve product quality and Process Capability Index (CpK) in the Microbiology Jobs at Kerry.
- Ensure timely implementation of company policies, reporting, and corrective actions
- Support timely product release and provide technical support to customers
- Champion a site-wide food safety and quality culture, embedding quality into daily operations
- Lead non-conformance and customer complaint investigations, ensuring timely closure and reporting
- As a Process Quality Technologist, you have to manage non-conforming stock, rework, inspections, product returns, and disposition decisions
- Collaborate with Operations and R&D to ensure new product development meets quality and food safety standards
- Execute and advance site quality improvement roadmaps, aligned with strategic objectives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration
Skills Required for the Process Quality Technologist Role:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and unit operations
- Experience with statistical analysis, SPC, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SAP is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, quality-focused mindset
