Educational Requirements for the Molecular Science Liaison Role:
- Required: Ph.D. in biological sciences related to pharmacology, cancer biology, molecular or cellular biology, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Experience in pharmaceuticals or commercial lab settings; strong background in molecular oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between the medical community and Caris Life Sciences to share insights on products, clinical trials, patient care, and therapeutic approaches.
- Present clinical data and educational materials to physician sites and conferences regionally or nationally.
- Promote Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to physician sites across Europe as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of scientific literature for effective customer engagement.
- Participate in regional and national speaking engagements, Roundtables, Grand Rounds, Tumor Boards, and sales meetings.
- Provide commercial input on marketing materials to reflect current molecular landscapes.
- Assist in training field speakers as part of the Caris Speaker’s Bureau.
Skills Required for the Molecular Science Liaison role:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong scientific and technical knowledge in molecular oncology
- Ability to analyze literature and interpret clinical data
- Comfortable with frequent travel (approx. 80%)
