Purpose of the Quality Assurance Manager Role:
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead and manage all on-site quality and food safety activities, embedding a strong food safety culture and ensuring compliance with GFSI, HACCP, FSANZ, and customer standards. This role offers end-to-end ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) and plays a critical role in protecting brand integrity and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- In this Quality Assurance Manager Role, you have to own and manage all quality and food safety systems on-site
- Embed a strong food safety and quality culture across production teams
- Ensure compliance with GFSI, HACCP, FSANZ, and customer quality standards
- Conduct internal audits, manage certifications, and close out non-conformances in the Quality Assurance Jobs
- Lead investigations into food safety and quality incidents
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and GMP compliance in this Quality Assurance Manager Role.
- Deliver training and coaching on food safety, GMP, and quality standards
- Partner daily with production and site leadership to achieve compliance and operational excellence
About You:
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science or an equivalent discipline
Experience & Skills
- Strong experience in food manufacturing quality systems
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP, QMS, audit processes, and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and influence site-wide quality outcomes
- Excellent attention to detail with strong MS Office proficiency
- Confident, hands-on leader comfortable operating in a standalone QA role
