Educational Requirements for the Quality Assurance Technician:
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- In the Quality Assurance Jobs at Kerry, you should perform raw material, in-process, environmental, and finished product testing with timely product release
- Execute and maintain the Environmental Monitoring Program, site hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Conduct process verification, QCP, CCP checks, and CCP validations
- Support shelf-life studies, extensions, testing coordination, and data review
- Maintain and improve HACCP, QMS, risk assessment systems, and food safety programs in the Quality Assurance Technician Role.
- Liaise with external laboratories for testing, results management, and follow-ups
- Manage finished goods holds and release processes with full traceability
- Maintain quality systems and documentation aligned with Kerry Global QMS and GFSI requirements
- As a Quality Assurance Technician, you should support document control, including SOPs and work instructions
- Provide support for Intelex and SAP Quality systems and data accuracy
- Participate in internal and external audits and manage follow-up actions
- Lead internal non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Manage QA consumables stock and ordering in the Quality Assurance Jobs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform additional QA-related duties as required
Skills Required for Quality Assurance Technician:
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP, quality, and food safety systems
- Understanding of food safety standards such as BRC, ISO 22000, FSSC, GMP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- SAP knowledge (preferred)
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Windows-based computer proficiency
- Ability to work collaboratively with production and quality teams
