Quality Control Job Description
As a leader within RDQ, the Manager, Quality Compliance serves as a senior technical resource and internal expert in areas critical to the organization. This role regularly interacts with senior management and applies broad technical expertise and deep specialization to identify, define, and resolve complex business challenges related to food safety and quality.
How You Will Contribute?
The Manager, Quality Compliance serves as the primary point of contact for multiple internal and external locations on quality-related topics, ensuring products meet design, food safety, and quality policy requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting R&D in designing products, specifications, and capabilities that deliver consumer-inspired quality
- Driving the implementation of regional and global quality strategies
- Identifying, reporting, monitoring, and directing corrective and preventive actions linked to quality KPIs
- Partnering cross-functionally with R&D, regulatory, marketing, and manufacturing teams
- Leading regional quality programs and sharing best practices across manufacturing sites through benchmarking
- Managing special situations and early warnings, including plant investigations, root-cause analysis, and follow-up actions
- Acting as a quality ambassador to foster a culture where quality improvement is instinctive across the business
What You Will Bring?

- Experience in operations, quality, and/or R&D
- Knowledge of quality systems, including HACCP, ISO 9001, and FSSC 22000
- Microbiology, food safety, and sanitation expertise

- Knowledge of statistical processes and structured problem-solving techniques
- Business acumen with influencing and negotiation skills
- Auditing certification or equivalent experience (preferred)

Compensation and Benefits of Quality Control Job
The expected base salary range for this position is $93,300 to $116,650 CAD, depending on experience, skills, education, and budget.
