- About the Role
Mondelēz International is recruiting a Research and Development Product Developer within the RDQ (Research, Development & Quality) function, specifically supporting the Productivity Team for the European region. This role focuses on portfolio maintenance and productivity-driven initiatives, covering the full project lifecycle—from ideation and scoping to execution.
You will work cross-functionally to deliver technically sound solutions that meet business objectives and, most importantly, consumer needs.
Key Responsibilities of Research and Development Jobs
- Organize and execute projects aligned with RDQ, marketing, and manufacturing requirements
- Communicate project status, risks, and timelines effectively
- Plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials following GMP and HACCP requirements
- Support development activities such as:
- Shelf-life testing
- Designing for quality
- Consumer test preparation
- Analyze and interpret data to produce technical reports with clear conclusions and recommendations
- Create and maintain accurate, consumer-led product specifications
What You Will Bring
Required Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in Food Science
- 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally within FMCG
- Experience working cross-functionally with guidance from a manager
- Ability to prioritize, manage tasks independently, and solve problems proactively
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing
- Consumer-focused mindset
