Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, molecular biology, or related biological sciences.
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory bench experience outside academia, using PCR, aseptic techniques, and biological assays.
- Biological Safety Level (BSL)-3 experience is desirable.
Key Responsibilities of Associate Scientist Role:
- Process and analyze QA/PT samples using molecular and microbiology techniques.
- Maintain GLP standards and chain-of-custody for all samples.
- Conduct contamination monitoring and QA/QC tasks.
- Document results, maintain lab records, and prepare technical reports.
- Support laboratory inventory management and program logistics.
Skills Required for Associate Scientist Role:
- Expertise in PCR, DNA extraction, and microbiological techniques.
- Knowledge of GLP standards, QA/QC procedures, and lab safety protocols.
- Strong data entry, documentation, and analytical skills.
