Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field

Key Responsibilities of the Associate Scientist Role:

  • Perform laboratory testing of new Transfusion Medicine products
  • Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and document results
  • Support investigations for nonconformances and customer complaints
  • Assist in improving reagent manufacturing processes and test methods
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings to cross-functional teams
  • Follow GLP and comply with GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations

Skills Required:

  • 1–2 years of relevant lab experience (entry-level considered)
  • Familiarity with laboratory instruments (experience with Abbott instruments is a plus)
  • Knowledge of GLP, GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
