Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
Key Responsibilities of the Associate Scientist Role:
- Perform laboratory testing of new Transfusion Medicine products
- Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and document results
- Support investigations for nonconformances and customer complaints
- Assist in improving reagent manufacturing processes and test methods
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to cross-functional teams
- Follow GLP and comply with GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations
Skills Required:
- 1–2 years of relevant lab experience (entry-level considered)
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments (experience with Abbott instruments is a plus)
- Knowledge of GLP, GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations preferred
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
