Educational Requirements for the Biochemistry Scientist Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry or a related science discipline
- 0 to 2+ years of laboratory experience (industry or academic)
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship
Key Responsibilities of the Biochemistry Scientist:
- Support analytical testing for multiple mAb platform methods
- Perform assays including Titer and concentration, SEC, CEX, cIEF, CE, Glycan profiling, Reconstitution time, water content, excipient analysis, Osmolality, appearance, and subvisible particulate matter, Residual testing using HPLC, ELISA, and qPCR
- Perform data entry and first-level data review
- Initiate and close ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook) records
- Prepare reagents and maintain laboratory equipment
- Support laboratory housekeeping and compliance activities
- Collaborate with other analytical development teams to meet program timelines
