Educational Requirements for Scientist Jobs:
- PhD in Life Sciences with 3+ years relevant biotechnology/virology experience
- OR Master’s degree with 5+ years of industry-relevant virology experience
- Expertise in Virology, molecular biology, Immunology assays, Virus latency/reactivation, FACS & ligand-based assays
Key Responsibilities of the Principal Scientist:
- In the Scientist role, you have to design and execute virology and molecular biology experiments for vaccine development
- Conduct immunology assays including FACS and ligand-based assays
- Support development of new technologies to enhance vaccine R&D
- Lead scientific investigations involving virus latency and reactivation
- Develop and optimize assays to assess viral phases
- Provide scientific and team leadership, mentoring junior scientists
- This Scientist role makes you collaborate with internal/external scientific partners and project teams
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Ensure timely execution of research activities and meet program milestones
