Educational Requirements for the Summer Internship:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Life Sciences, including Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Neuroscience, or related disciplines
- Must be eligible to work full-time for the duration of the internship
Key Responsibilities:
- In this Regulatory Affairs Intern Role at AstraZeneca Careers, you should manage regulatory documentation by uploading, tracking, and maintaining files in regulatory systems
- Assist in planning, preparing, and executing simple regulatory submissions
- Support the preparation and coordination of regulatory dispatches
- Order and track regulatory requirements such as:
- Registration samples
- Certificates of Pharmaceutical Product (CPPs)
- Letters of Authorization and Powers of Attorney
- Translated regulatory documents
- Provide support for non-drug regulatory projects and act as a point of contact or system super-user when assigned in this Regulatory Affairs Intern Role.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within the Regulatory Affairs Management (RAM) group
- Support process improvement initiatives as needed
Skills Required for the Summer Internship:
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective time management and project coordination abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based regulatory environment
- Awareness of Health Canada regulations and Canadian regulatory frameworks (asset)
