Educational Requirements:

  • Required: Associate’s degree in a science-related field or 1+ year experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech laboratory environment.
  • Preferred: BA/BS in biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.

Key Responsibilities of Laboratory Technician Role:

  • Receive, log, store, dispatch, and dispose of samples using LIMS.

  • Calibrate and maintain automated and non-automated laboratory equipment.
  • Order, track, and stock lab reagents, consumables, and materials.
  • Perform DNA/RNA extraction and quality assessment of nucleic acids.

Key Responsibilities of Laboratory Technician Role_ - visual selection

  • Assist in kit and label production processes.
  • Support creation and revision of SOPs and other quality documentation.
  • Maintain housekeeping and ensure safe disposal of lab waste.
  • Execute laboratory tasks following ADS standard operating procedures.

  • Maintain documentation and identify non-conformances for correction.

Skills Required for Laboratory Technician Role:

  • Working knowledge of GMP, GXP, GLP, or GCP practices.
  • Laboratory experience in pharmaceutical or biotech settings.
  • Proficiency in Excel and laboratory information systems (LIMS).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform calibration, maintenance, and stock management.
