Educational Requirements:
- Required: Associate’s degree in a science-related field or 1+ year experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech laboratory environment.
- Preferred: BA/BS in biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
Key Responsibilities of Laboratory Technician Role:

Receive, log, store, dispatch, and dispose of samples using LIMS.
- Calibrate and maintain automated and non-automated laboratory equipment.
- Order, track, and stock lab reagents, consumables, and materials.
- Perform DNA/RNA extraction and quality assessment of nucleic acids.
- Assist in kit and label production processes.
- Support creation and revision of SOPs and other quality documentation.
- Maintain housekeeping and ensure safe disposal of lab waste.

Execute laboratory tasks following ADS standard operating procedures.

Maintain documentation and identify non-conformances for correction.
Skills Required for Laboratory Technician Role:
- Working knowledge of GMP, GXP, GLP, or GCP practices.
- Laboratory experience in pharmaceutical or biotech settings.
- Proficiency in Excel and laboratory information systems (LIMS).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform calibration, maintenance, and stock management.
