Job Title: Scientist, Cell Biology
Location: US – California – Thousand Oaks
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree OR
- Masterโs degree & 3 years of scientific experience OR
- Bachelorโs degree & 5 years of scientific experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or Molecular Biology
- Hands-on experience with molecular and cellular biology techniques and assays including but not limited to cloning and construct design, gene editing, mRNA isolation, qPCR, ddPCR, immunohistochemistry, and confocal microscopy.
- Experience with mammalian tissue culture and cell-based assays. Previous experience with immune cells is a plus.
- Flow cytometry and multi-parametric analysis (3+ colors) experience is desired
- Previous drug discovery experience
- Mouse handling and administering drugs through various routes
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail, translating into high-quality results
- The ability to work independently on research goals and to collaborate on day-to-day experiments with others
- Proactive, enthusiastic, show a desire to learn and be a part of a growing, highly productive cross-functional team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work in a flexible team-oriented environment
