Position Summary
Genentech is seeking a highly motivated intern for Summer 2026 to join the BAS team. The intern will work on a laboratory-based project developing a plug-and-play immunoaffinity enrichment, LC-MS/MS pharmacokinetic (PK) assay for a broad class of antibody-based biotherapeutics. This role will leverage high-throughput automation and state-of-the-art instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop IA LC-MS/MS methods for assessing PK of biotherapeutic proteins from rat, cynomolgus monkey, and human matrices.
- Utilize targeted quantitative and proteomic workflows (HPLC-Triple Quadrupole MS, nano-LC-high resolution MSn).
- Perform automated, high-throughput sample preparation techniques.
- Conduct LC-MS/MS analyses and evaluate data using software tools.
- Summarize and present findings at the Genentech intern poster session and BAS group meetings.

Qualifications and Skills For Biology Internship
