Roles & Responsibilities:
- In this Biology Internship at Biogen, you should support exploratory discovery research focused on Friedreich’s ataxia
- Design, execute, and analyze molecular and cell-based experiments
- Perform qPCR, ddPCR, gel electrophoresis, and western blot analysis
- Conduct mammalian cell culture and plasmid transfection or viral transduction
- Work with human iPSC-derived neurons and established cell lines in this Biology Internship in the USA
- Perform immunostaining, fluorescence microscopy, and quantitative image analysis
- Support functional characterization through co-localization and morphology assessments
- Participate in experimental planning, troubleshooting, and data interpretation

Education & Eligibility Required for the Biology Internship:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Preferred majors:
- Cell Biology
- Molecular Biology / Biochemistry
- Neuroscience
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited academic institution
- Must be 18 years or older before the start date
- Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Compensation & Benefits for the Biology Internship:
- Hourly Pay Range: $23.00 – $29.00
