Position Summary
The R&D Formulation Intern will support the R&D Principal Scientist in processes, trials, and analytical work involving raw materials and finished products. The internship begins in June 2026 and provides hands-on experience in laboratory, pilot plant, and factory settings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in validating new raw materials against specifications
- Provide feedback on development and optimization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Support technicians and scientists in creating laboratory test batches
- Operate and maintain pilot lab equipment safely and properly
- Perform routine analytical testing and report results
- Assist with factory trials for new recipes, ingredients, and procedures
- Pack and ship samples as required
- Maintain laboratory organization and functionality
- Participate in R&D team meetings to share project priorities and progress
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in Windows, Excel, and Word
- Basic troubleshooting skills

- Strong task management and organizational skills
