Educational Requirements for the Associate Director Role:
- Degree in Food Science or a related scientific discipline
Key Responsibilities:
- In the FSQA Jobs at HelloFresh, you should develop and implement international FSQA strategies to identify, prioritize, and mitigate food safety and quality risks.
- Lead supplier compliance and quality assurance programs across grocery and convenience categories.
- Collaborate with the distribution center FSQA teams to resolve escalated quality and compliance issues.
- Provide technical expertise on supplier operations to ensure regulatory compliance and internal capability building in the FSQA Jobs at HelloFresh.
- Establish and maintain standardized FSQA processes, controls, and supplier management frameworks.
- Lead international FSQA compliance program implementation for the category.
- In the FSQA Jobs at HelloFresh, you must use data analytics to inform decision-making, leveraging KPIs such as quality errors, supplier compliance, NPS, and food safety complaints.
- Align with international FSQA teams to implement shared OKRs and KPIs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with culinary, procurement, packaging, logistics, sustainability, legal, PR, and customer care teams as an Associate Director.
- Lead crisis management for food safety incidents.
- Build relationships with external authorities and industry bodies, including GFSI and Global GAP.
- Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices across international markets.
- Support new country launches and new verticals, such as Ready-to-Eat and Ready-to-Heat meals, in the FSQA Jobs.
- Embed a strong food safety and quality culture across the organization.
- Lead, develop, and resource a high-performing international FSQA team.
Skills Required for the Associate Director Role:
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and quality management systems (HACCP, GFSI, SEDEX).
- Proven leadership experience within FSQA across manufacturing, supply chain, or retail environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities at all organizational levels.
- Strategic thinking with a demonstrated ability to drive change and deliver impact.
- Advanced data analysis and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- High organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives.
