About the Role
The Biologics Operations Summer Intern will gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing of biologic medicines within a sterile production environment. Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, the intern will support daily manufacturing activities, learn the preparation and filling of monoclonal antibody medicines, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
This internship offers a valuable introduction to biopharmaceutical manufacturing and provides an opportunity to develop technical, analytical, and collaboration skills in a real-world production setting.

Main Responsibilities
- Support daily sterile manufacturing activities, including formulation and filling of monoclonal antibody products.
- Learn and apply aseptic processing techniques while following cleanroom protocols and contamination control practices.
- Assist in collecting and analysing manufacturing data, including key performance indicators and process parameters.
- Contribute to projects that improve manufacturing processes and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams across Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to support safe and reliable production.
- Support investigations and improvement activities that reduce product loss and strengthen manufacturing performance.
- Learn the principles of regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing and support activities aligned with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Candidate Profile
To excel in this role, candidates should:
- Be currently pursuing a degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or another STEM-related field.
- Have curiosity about medicine manufacturing and a willingness to learn in a hands-on environment.
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrate interest in analysing data and using insights to improve processes.
- Maintain a positive and proactive mindset with a continuous learning approach.
- Have basic experience using tools such as Microsoft Excel for data organisation and analysis.
