Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform environmental monitoring in cleanrooms, biological safety cabinets (BSCs), and isolators.
  • Conduct utility sampling of water systems and compressed air/gas systems.
  • Carry out in-process testing using techniques such as HPLC and UV spectrophotometry to support manufacturing activities.
  • Issue, receive, and test biological indicators used in sterilization monitoring in this Microbiology Job in Ireland.
  • Review and report results from environmental monitoring and aseptic qualification testing.
  • Participate in media fill (aseptic process simulation) activities as a QC Specialist.
  • Identify microorganisms isolated during laboratory testing.
  • Maintain accurate and timely laboratory documentation and compliance records.

Educational Requirements for this Job:

  • Experience using laboratory systems such as MODA, Empower, CIMS, LIMS, LES, Veeva Vault (desirable).
  • Strong documentation and regulatory compliance skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in team-based laboratory environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
