Educational Requirements for this Job:

Diploma or Degree level qualification in Food Science, or relevant laboratory and/or industry experience
Experience Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in food laboratories (Preferred)
- Fresh graduates with internship experience are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine QA tasks as outlined in the Quality Policies Manual and associated procedures
- Conduct finished product testing
- Perform ATP swabs, Allergen swabs, hygiene inspections, and EMP swabbing
- Carry out CCP verification checks in this Quality Assurance Job in Australia
- Input QA data into the SAP system as part of a positive release
- Isolate non-conforming stock as required
- Liaise with other departments to ensure continual improvement of products and quality systems in this Quality Assurance Technologist Role
- Assist in individual problem resolutions
- Support shelf life testing and monitoring of raw materials and intermediates
- Manage retention samples
- Participate in internal audits and routine GMP inspections
- Ensure laboratory equipment and cleanliness are maintained
- Perform daily calibration of equipment before testing
- Raise non-conformance reports for out-of-spec products
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of food quality assurance and laboratory testing procedures
- Familiarity with SAP systems
- Experience with Windows-based computer systems
- Understanding of GMP and quality systems
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work across all shifts as required
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
