Educational Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Microbiology, Biology, Engineering, or a related Science/Engineering field (required)
- M.S. degree preferred
Key Responsibilities for quality assurance associate role:
- Ensure robust quality assurance by monitoring quality systems and supporting regulatory inspections
- Review documents and facilitate batch disposition of materials while maintaining compliance
- Coach and mentor operations teams on quality assurance principles
- Investigate non-conformances, deviations, and CAPAs using Six Sigma and Lean tools
- Provide guidance throughout project lifecycles
Skills Required for quality assurance associate role:
- Knowledge of FDA, EU GMP, USDA, and CFIA regulations
- Proven experience in regulated environments
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead without authority
- Technical writing skills
