Role Summary
The Disease Area Specialist is a key driver of customer engagement and sales performance. Acting as the face of Novartis’ customer experience approach, the role focuses on building deep, value-based relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to support patients and drive sustainable sales growth in a compliant and ethical manner.
The position reports to the NS & Immunology First Line Manager (FLM).
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Drive competitive sales growth by personalizing and orchestrating customer engagement journeys for target HCPs
- Reflect customer preferences using available content and multiple engagement channels
- Build long-term partnerships with HCPs to foster sustained collaboration with Novartis
- Deliver customer-centric experiences by actively listening to customer needs and understanding their healthcare environment
- Leverage data sources to build, prioritize, and adapt territory, account, and customer interaction plans
- Share customer insights with internal partners to support product- and indication-related content, campaigns, and engagement strategies
- Collaborate compliantly with cross-functional teams to develop solutions addressing unmet customer and patient needs
- Act with integrity, transparency, and respect in all interactions with customers and colleagues
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Life Sciences
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Medical Representative or Product Specialist in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience working with specialist physicians
- Proficient in Hebrew and English (written and spoken)
- Good understanding of strategic marketing, sales, and product commercialization processes
- Data-oriented mindset
- Strong digital proficiency
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of the Neurology therapeutic area
