Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Immunology, Oncology, Biology, or related field
  • 0-2+ years of experience in clinical sample testing with multi-parameter flow cytometry (8+ colors)
  • Hands-on experience with flow cytometry platforms (Cytek Aurora a plus)
  • Proficiency with analysis software (BD FACSDiva, FlowJo, FCS Express; OMIQ a plus)
  • Familiarity with LIMS, ELN, and laboratory data systems

Job Description:

The QC Research Associate Job involves working within the Translational Research: Technology & Operations team to perform quality control of clinical flow cytometry data, support laboratory testing, and contribute to next-generation cell-based therapies. This position is ideal for candidates exploring Life Science Research Jobs and seeking hands-on experience in translational research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and perform QC of clinical flow cytometry data from external laboratories.
  • Use data review tools to ensure accuracy for downstream analysis.
  • Identify, report, and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Draft and revise SOPs for data QC processes.
  • Collaborate with laboratory partners and internal stakeholders to improve data review tools.
  • Perform routine sample testing using flow cytometry assays under moderate supervision.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot flow cytometry instruments; manage critical reagents.
  • Prioritize tasks in both local and matrixed environments, supporting team objectives.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Experience in CRO environments is a plus
