About GenScript Europe Division & the Role:

As a Technical Account Representative, you will act as the bridge between customers and internal teams, supporting Sales, Production, Project Management, Marketing, Logistics, and Finance. You’ll help customers with technical solutions, quotations, and project guidance in a fast-paced biotech setting.
Educational Requirements for Technical Account Representative role:
- Minimum Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related fields
- Strong laboratory skills in cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, or molecular biology
Key Responsibilities for Technical Account Representative role:
- Manage daily customer service operations, including inquiries, order placement, complaints, and technical support
- Provide technical advice and guidance to customers, shaping their requirements to align with business capabilities
- Collaborate with Sales Account Managers as a technical consultant to improve customer satisfaction
- Attend trade and technical shows, delivering presentations to customers
Skills Required for Technical Account Representative role:
- Proficiency in lab techniques: DNA cloning, plasmid preparation, protein expression (E. coli, HEK, CHO, insect, cell-free), protein purification, Western Blot, ELISA
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Customer-focused and proactive
- Prior industry experience in commercial roles is advantageous but not essential
