Job Description
The Scientist, QC Analytical at Catalent is responsible for supporting analytical testing to facilitate GMP manufacturing activities for clinical and commercial clients. The role requires technical expertise, adherence to scientific and regulatory standards, proactive problem-solving skills, and a dedication to scientific excellence.
Shift:ย Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various assays including ELISA, DNA/RNA extraction, qPCR, ddPCR, HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, Appearance, Osmo, and pH
- Document testing procedures according to GMP/GDP requirements
- Generate internal and external documents such as assay protocols, summary reports, and SOPs
- Provide analytical support for QC method validation and testing
- Support release and stability testing for raw materials, components, standards, and finished products
- Review laboratory work, approve data packages, and handle instrumentation maintenance
- Responsible for document writing, data interpretation, statistical analysis, and trending
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a Life Sciences discipline with 0-2 years of experience in a cGMP QC laboratory
- Preferably have experience with techniques such as ELISA, qPCR, ddCPR, HPLC, and CE
- Knowledge of QC analytical methods in protein chemistry and molecular biology
- Prior experience in biologic, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries working within a QC function
- Experience in writing SOPs and conducting laboratory investigations
