Educational Requirements for the Biotechnician Role:
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED (some college preferred)
- Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
Key Responsibilities of the Biotechnician:
- Perform vialing, filling, capping, and labeling of regulated GMP products
- Maintain accurate batch records and device history records
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO 13485:2016, and MDSAP regulations
- Conduct label creation, inspection, and final product documentation
- In this Biotechnician Role, you have support equipment maintenance and laboratory supply management
- Receive, inspect, label, and log raw materials
- Prepare buffers and wash laboratory glassware
- Perform data entry, record scanning, CoA creation, and ERP processing
- Collaborate with QA, inventory control, and manufacturing teams
- Support additional projects as assigned
Skills Required for the Biotechnician Role:
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Advanced pipetting and aseptic technique skills
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and quality systems (preferred)
- Ability to pipette small volumes and perform basic math calculations
- Experience with ERP systems and data entry
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet timelines
- Ability to work effectively in small team environments
