CTA Job Description
CTA job responsibilities at Johnson & Johnson involve supporting clinical study teams through effective Trial Master File management, study documentation processing, and administrative coordination within clinical projects. This clinical research job includes maintaining and tracking study activities in CTMS, supporting project managers, and ensuring all study documents comply with Johnson & Johnson SOPs, work instructions, and regulatory guidelines.
The Clinical Trial Administrator will also support operational activities related to regulatory binders, study supplies, safety documentation distribution, and device tracking activities when required. This remote job is ideal for candidates who can work independently, communicate effectively, and manage multiple administrative responsibilities within clinical trials.
Qualifications Required
CTA job applicants should meet the following requirements to be considered for this clinical research job:
- Previous clinical research experience or clinical/medical background
- Minimum 1 year of administrative support experience or equivalent
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred

- Managing the Trial Master File (TMF) for assigned clinical studies
- Supporting clinical study staff and project managers
- Maintaining and tracking activities in CTMS
- Creating and distributing regulatory binders
- Ensuring completeness of essential study documentation
- Supporting safety committee documentation distribution
- Creating and generating system reports
- Supporting study supply creation, ordering, and distribution
- Printing protocols and preparing DVDs for study sites
- Assisting with device tracking and ordering when applicable
- Coordinating with Study Teams, TMF Managers, Site Managers, and clinical sites
