- Optimize fermentation process:
- Conduct fermentations with probiotic bacteria
- Analyze and present results internally
- Optimize downstream process:
- Assess different drying strategies/parameters
- Conduct trials for drying of probiotics
- Analyze dried bacteria using microbiological methods
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Food Sciences, or related sciences
- Strong interest in fermentation technology; Experience in microbiology is an asset
- Cooperating well in a team, autonomous, structured, and proactive
- Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel
- Good written and oral English communication skills; Basic German is an asset
