Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field (Required).
  • Internship or 1–3 years of experience in food manufacturing or laboratory environments preferred.

Key Responsibilities of the FSQ Specialist:

  • Manage finished product release or hold status
  • Review, rework documentatio,n and determine disposition
  • Track non-conforming inventory
  • Report departmental KPI,s such as scrap
  • Support traceability, recall, and withdrawal processes
  • SAP QM superuser: manage training, data, system functionality, and reporting
  • As an FSQ Specialist, you should maintain Quality Master Data and inspection plans
  • Document control owner: review and update internal and corporate quality documents
  • Ensure alignment with HACCP and QMS requirements
  • Support Net Contents system and compliance reporting
  • Manage batch status, WMS, and warehouse-related quality workflows
  • As an FSQ Specialist, you have to conduct GMP audits and documentation checks
  • Provide coaching and training to production teams
  • Identify procedural gaps and lead improvement projects
  • Lead HACCP documentation review and daily quality observations
  • Assist with special projects and sample shipments
  • Provide product troubleshooting support as needed
  • Flexibility to cover off-shift hours

Skills Required for the FSQ Specialist Role:

  • Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of statistics and data interpretation
