Educational Requirements for the Scientific Affairs Manager Role:

PhD in a relevant scientific discipline, such as Molecular Biology, Immunology, Genetics, or related life science fields
Key Responsibilities:
- In this Scientific Affairs Manager Role, you have to support the execution of global scientific strategies for Bio-Rad’s clinical diagnostic portfolio
- Translate complex scientific data into clear, impactful scientific communication materials
- Strengthen Bio-Rad’s presence and credibility within the clinical diagnostics community
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, regulatory, and clinical teams
- Support evidence generation initiatives that drive global product adoption and trust
- Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through site visits, advisory boards, webinars, and conferences in the Molecular Biology Jobs.
- Represent Bio-Rad at scientific conferences through presentations, posters, and symposia
Skills Required:
- Strong scientific expertise in clinical diagnostics, with foundational knowledge of molecular biology or immunology
- 3–5 years of industry experience in scientific or medical affairs roles (e.g., MSL, Field Application Scientist) are required for the Scientific Affairs Manager Role.
- Experience in immunohematology, transfusion medicine, and/or quality control management
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrixed environments
- Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills
- Experience in KOL engagement and scientific communications preferred
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
