Educational Requirements for this Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in a life-science discipline, or equivalent experience of at least 1 year in a hands-on laboratory role
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop biochemical and cell-based potency assays based on the drug’s mode of action in this Research Job at Avantor Careers.
- Carry out routine sample testing
- Maintain mammalian cell line cultures and frozen stocks
- Manage laboratory supplies, equipment, and tissue culture suites
- Review and prepare experimental data as a Research Technician.
- Discuss findings in internal and cross-functional meetings
- Coordinate with other business groups
- Plan future experiments based on customer deadlines and requirements
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Standards (GLS) in this Research Job
Skills Required:
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of mammalian cell culturing
- Experience working in a life science laboratory environment
- Understanding of Good Laboratory Standards (GLS)
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
