- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime as required)
- Pay Range: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
Biochemistry Job Role Overview
The Entry-Level Biochemist joins a collaborative scientific team focused on protein and antibody characterization. This position provides hands-on experience with industry-standard analytical techniques while contributing to high-quality data generation and efficient laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-on Laboratory Testing
- Perform biochemical analyses on proteins and antibodies
- Utilize analytical techniques including CE, IC, HPLC, SEC, SDS-PAGE, UV, and Protein A titer
Reagent & Sample Preparation
- Prepare reagents, samples, and standards according to established procedures
- Ensure accuracy, precision, and consistency in preparation processes
Data Documentation
- Record results accurately in electronic laboratory notebook systems
- Adhere to data integrity and documentation best practices
Team Collaboration
- Maintain clear communication with colleagues and clients
- Support shared project objectives within a team-based environment
Productivity & Planning
- Organize daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow
- Manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining compliance and quality standards
Laboratory Maintenance
- Support routine laboratory upkeep and housekeeping
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inspection-ready workspace
Additional Duties
- Perform other assigned tasks to support project timelines and team objectives
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field
- At least 3 months of laboratory experience (academic, internship, research, or industry)
- Availability to start within a 2-week to 1-month timeframe
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
