Key Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Associate Role:
- Perform upstream cell culture, including mammalian cell harvest and handling bioreactors up to 15,000L
- Conduct thaws and splits using aseptic techniques
- Execute daily manufacturing activities and operate process equipment according to cGMP SOPs
- Record all cGMP data and maintain batch records, SLRs, and equipment logbooks
- Conduct in-process sampling and analysis (pH, conductivity, protein concentration, osmolarity, cell counts, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and audit-ready work environment
- Participate in training and development initiatives for personal growth and team contribution
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM preferred with 2+ years of relevant experience OR
- BioWork Certificate/Associate’s Degree with 2.5+ years of directly transferable experience
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of biomanufacturing processes and cGMP regulations
- Attention to detail for accurate data documentation and adherence to SOPs
- Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-impact biotechnology environment
- Demonstrated learning agility and problem-solving mindset
