Educational Requirements for the Associate Production Scientist Role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related Life Science discipline.
- Minimum 1+ years of laboratory and/or production experience.
Key Responsibilities of the Associate Production Scientist Role:
- Manufacture made-to-order products in bacterial, DNA, RNA, and lentiviral formats.
- Set up and prepare products in accordance with current manufacturing procedures.
- Perform production operations, including QC, packaging, and shipping.
- Maintain product quality and meet production quantity targets.
- In the Biology Jobs, you have to work closely with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Bioinformatics teams for product development and transfer.
- Communicate process status, deviations, and equipment updates to supervisors.
- Provide accurate batch records and complete NCRs where required.
- Enter hours worked and raw material usage in SAP.
- Ensure all logbooks and compliance documentation are completed.
- Write and modify production procedures aligned with quality guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE.
- Clean equipment and work areas after production.
- Coordinate waste disposal and ensure safe work practices.
