About the Role
As Associate Medical Advisor VIE within our Medical team, you will report to the UK & IE Medical Head for autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes (aT1D). This position provides a unique opportunity to:
- Support medical activities, stakeholder engagement, and scientific communications within the UK aT1D team
- Gain exposure to cutting-edge developments in autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes
- Develop expertise in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical industry

Main Responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of medical strategy aligned with global and local objectives
- Assist in preparation and delivery of scientific presentations and medical education materials
- Contribute to advisory board planning and execution
- Support medical information activities and scientific response development
- Participate in early detection and screening initiatives for aT1D, including awareness campaigns and educational programs
- Assist in strategies to improve early diagnosis rates in the UK, reducing complications such as Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
- Collaborate with patient organizations and healthcare professionals to raise awareness
- Stay up-to-date with research in early detection methodologies, biomarkers, and screening approaches
- Support data collection and analysis related to early detection programs
- Develop educational materials for healthcare professionals on early symptoms and risk factors
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
- Support engagement with patient advocacy groups and professional organizations
Experience For Life Science Jobs
- Understanding of pharmaceutical industry and/or healthcare environment
- Stakeholder management experience
- Scientific writing or medical communications experience is desirable
- Knowledge of diabetes or autoimmune conditions is a plus
- Exposure to medical affairs or clinical research is beneficial
