Educational Requirements for this Job:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year college degree) in Biology, Microbiology (preferred), or Life Sciences or Applied Sciences
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a GMP microbiology laboratory
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological and chemical testing of Water systems, Clean steam, Environmental monitoring samples, Compressed gases, and drug products in this Microbiology Job at Lilly Careers
- Accurately document data in ELN/LIMS systems in compliance with GMP standards
- Conduct a technical review of analytical data
- As a QC Analyst, you should identify and investigate deviations and out-of-specification results
- Participate in laboratory and deviation investigations in this Microbiology Job in the USA
- Support equipment qualification and method transfers/verifications
- Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and methods
- Maintain laboratory inventory and consumables

- Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety standards
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of microbiological testing techniques (aseptic technique, sterility, endotoxin, microbial enumeration, etc.)
- Understanding of GMP regulations and compendial standards
- Experience with laboratory systems (LIMS, ELN, LES, MODA preferred)
- Familiarity with TrackWise and/or Veeva (preferred)
- Strong documentation and data integrity skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
- Continuous improvement mindset (Lean, 5S experience preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
